Amongst our more amazing experiences there were night snorkelling with Manta Rays, several luaus, whale watching, an outrigger canoe tour, and catamaran sailing with spinner dolphins.
On Maui we stayed at the Ka'anapali Beach Hotel, which was lovely, and quite serious about its billing as the most Hawaiian hotel. On Kauai, we stayed at the Marriott in Lihue, and it was stunning. Waikiki had us in the Hilton Hawaiian Village, and were at the King Kamehameha in Kailua Kona. All gorgeous, very comfortable hotels.
We also cruised on the Pride of America, enjoying the stops and learning about the culture. They also had a really good sushi bar on board.
